Integration: a successful or a failure process in Europe.

  • Why has the integration of minorities in Europe failed (for example in Germany).
  • The political and economical reasons of this failure.
  • The integration of minorities is relevant for the German society just from the point of view of the demographical development.  In Cologne alone, 40 % of all people under the age of 14 years are migrants.  It means that in 10 years you have a town as big as Cologne with half of its population with a migration background.  So integration is a necessity, but integration is not one way and the both of parties should attempt for that.
  • Minorities within minorities suffer double the pain of discrimination.  For example: Moslem gays and lesbians.

Performance: two films about Moslem gays and lesbians.
